What Does It Mean To Be Reconciled To God?

We spend much of our lives living for what we want and need, it is the human nature that we are before we came to Christ. As you begin to want to know more about Him and come to some heavy crossroads in your own understanding of what He did for us all.

He died a criminals death, having no sin at all, bearing everyone’s sins on Himself, allowing you to be free to live a life for Him , giving up your old lives and reconciling yourself to Jesus. Then becoming a new creation in Christ as you live for Him.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Before Christ, the Jews lived in their old sinful lives, here Paul tells us that no longer is the way to God, Christ dies for all,

2 Corinthians 5:18

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

therefore we live a reconciled life with Him not counting sins against us. Our freedom is in Christ Jesus through a reconciled life, another words following Him, knowing Him and Loving Him.

 2 Corinthians 5:19

that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

Who among men lives lives worthy of reconciliation? All those who come to Christ freely laying all your bad behavior, your acts of selfishness and lives lived only for yourself and not God. All this Christ is what died for. As you live your lives and go about your day, remember who gave Himself up for you so that you could have eternal life.

2 Corinthians 5:20

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Be The Light of Christ for all to see

Sadly many will read this and go back to your own way of life, maybe some of you are serving God in ways that aren’t your true calling, God will reveal His calling to you through prayer and is calling you to Himself right now, all day ,everyday.

To forget what He did for you is a sin that’s turning you away from God.

 2 Corinthians 5:21

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

God wants that relationship with you now , turn your life over to Him and always remember that we are precious in His sight and what he took for us is the ultimate price paid in full. God’s one and only Son, Jesus did this, thus reconciling us to Himself

Shalom
