Heaven: Will You Enter?

There are many scriptures pointing to Jesus speaking about Heaven and who will see the Kingdom of God

Jesus tells us in-

Matthew 19:24 Again I tell you, it is hard for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. But it is even harder for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

Sin separates us from God, so as much as you love your life here on earth you will surely lose it and someday face Jesus in Heaven, will He let you in? Let’s see what Jesus says:

Luke 13:22-35

The Narrow Door
22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”

He said to them, 24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’

“But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’

26 “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’

27 “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’

28 “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. 29 People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30 Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.”

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Jesus has full authority from His Father in Heaven over us, He rules the heavens and the earth, He is the gatekeeper in The Highest Heaven of God’s Mighty Kingdom. When we put our trust in Him, make Him our Lord and Savior we are saved by the shedding of His Blood, set apart and holy.

But this isn’t just something that happens without your deep need for a Savior, you must dedicate yourself to Jesus as Lord and walk in God’s ways. It is not something we work for, when we trust in Christ as Savior we are saved by Grace not by anything you do, you can’t gain entry in by working your way into Heaven, it’s by the Blood of Christ that you are saved.

Ephesians 2:6 God raised us up with Christ. He has seated us with him in his heavenly kingdom. That’s because we belong to Christ Jesus.

So guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus, your life can be transformed and you will be tested like fire for your durability to serve Him in this world. Do you think you will enter in and sit with Christ?
