Rejoice In The Lord Always

In this world there are many trials, so much to be confronted with, when you start to settle down and rest, here comes another upheaval. But , what to do?

Paul tells us in Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again, Rejoice!

Paul tells us to “Let let your gentleness be evident to all”

Sometimes that’s hard! When we feel down or in the midst of a crisis do we want to rejoice? Most of the time no! But Paul writing from a prison is rejoicing, Peter and John often write about suffering for the Lord. When we are not rejoicing what are we doing? Are we in self-pity? Are we standing strong waiting for the Storm to be over. At that time we must remember to pray and ” Do not be anxious about anything but by everything in prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God (Phil 4:6)

Oh how I want to keep this in my memory or write it down as a quote on my desk, often times I find that small trials leave me burdened, but then I remember how blessed I am and to rejoice! Not to worry, or be frustrated, but to be patient that in Jesus we have the peace that transcends all understanding, and will guard our hearts and minds. (Phil 4:7)

So I say to you today, whatever it is that is going on in your life remember that it is for your spiritual growth and faith that it is happening. Jesus wants you to turn to Him and get that perfect peace that only HE can give, not the world

Believe Jesus for Healing

If you have troubles, and are seeking help from God on health or emotions or maybe just a sign that he is there, Jesus wants us to know, that we can be healed when we clean ourselves up and become more like Him. You must be able to remove your sinful nature of taking what you think is yours and not believing in Jesus for the Healing that He can give you. It’s not easy  to follow the Christian way, you must count the cost by giving up yourself to follow Him everyday.

You must also learn to listen to God when He speaks to you, stop trying to force things, He is in control and when you let it go, it gives Him more room to work in your life. He makes what is old in you, new. The physical or mental healing takes time, but you have to commit! Don’t think just because you believe and then go about doing things that are not God’s way –then you will not ever reap the benefits of a Godly life and be healed from this world’s burdens.

I am speaking to you! Stop trying to fix it. Let go, let Jesus into your life and BELIEVE IN JESUS FOR HEALING!!

Life Before Christ, Life With Christ

Ephesians 4:6 one God and Father of all that is over all and through all and in all.

How you lived in the past is not important to God, when you come to Him and give your life to Him He comes into you through the Holy Spirit and changes you,how glorious is that? How comforting is the Lord? When you give your life to Him He brings the secret things of Himself to you so you may grow in Christ and learn how to be a person of God, walking in His ways and not the world’s.

If you are born again then you can clearly remember what life was like before Christ. Your trusted the world’s ways and not God’s. you were dead in your sins being a victim to it all the time, being subject to the wrath of God, enslaved by satan. Many times we had fallen to evil thoughts and desires.

But the Good News is that because you follow Christ you have been made alive in Him, you are shown mercy and given salvation, you stand for truth and you are a child of God. You love and serve Christ now are raised with Christ to glory.

So ask God to refine you like gold, see the wonders He has for you!

Jesus says to us: Matthew6 :14-15 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

The power in that scripture reminds us of how the human flesh can interfere with your relationships (big and small) with others.

Don’t we also see that in people who don’t forgive us? We may not know we have sinned against someone, but realize later that we did. So I say to you when someone sins against you, do you talk about it for days on end or do you forgive from the moment it happened? I know that at times, I find myself struggling with that, although I forgive them, I remember that they betrayed me and that can also lead to holding back love for someone. Jesus tells us and gave us the command to Love one another so for me this is a problem that I need to keep working on, forgiveness towards others and the lesson of  learning to let go of someone’s bad behavior towards me. Because Jesus also said “your heavenly Father will also forgive you” and to tell you the truth, I only want to please God and looking into the faces of others, God is working through them as well and especially on their lives- getting them closer to the goal of wanting a relationship with Him.

So I say to you my friends…. Are you forgiving someone today that has hurt you in the past and present? Is it so horrible that God hasn’t forgiven them? Jesus did it on the Cross, that day on Calvary lest you not forget this.

Lay Your Troubles At The Feet Of Jesus

Are you Lost? Are you suffering? Are your emotions bringing you down?

Well lay those things “At The Feet of Jesus”

Can you imagine how down the disciples were when the one they loved so much left the earth, they must have been so troubled, what will they do without Him? Who would feel their pain, was it going to be no one at all? How would they face each day knowing that He, their King was no where in sight. How would they know that He would be back with them, they had to trust and have faith, even at the bottom of the barrel,  suffering loss they kept their faith. For Him the disciples risked everything, their own lives to keep the gospel moving because ultimately they knew what was ahead, persecution here on earth, a heavenly home in the Kingdom of God.

Our troubles are not what controls the earth, it is God who has all control, healing, love, mercy, forgiveness, all these things are a free gift for you and for me. Because of what Jesus did on the cross for us was nothing less than a miracle from our God and when we lay our troubles at the feet of Jesus, He knows!! He knows!! He knows what you are going through and is carrying you along and comforting you with His tenderness, how sweet Jesus is and how blessed are we?

So I say no matter what, look to Him for your answers and wait for Him to work through your life in ways you could never know about or see. May you rest in Him each day as  He longs for you to depend on Him and ask for that personal relationship with Him, Jesus longs for that and waits for you to want it too.

Fulfill Your Dream

Are you seeking the dream life? The Life in which you see yourself but cannot achieve? Well let’s start right here. The dream that you seek may not be the dream that God has in store for you. The dream that you see yourself doing may be not be the dream that will be revealed right now. But that does not mean that God will not fulfill your dream, it’s the intensity of the dream that you see that is taking it’s time in getting there, the dream that says to your soul, I see it , I can’t get there, but as God knows your dream, He gives you strength enough to tolerate the time that you are patiently waiting on Him.

But wait, wait right there! He wants you to pray, have you sincerely prayed about what you need to achieve? Is it that you have been provided the tools but just don’t know how to get there? Well God has a plan for that too. He’s been working on you from the time He has placed you here. The wait is just the time that He wants you to develop the skills to really complete the task that is coming before you.

Pray and be patient, so that He see’s that you are trusting Him in this dream that He ultimately put in you.

When you put your hope in Christ all things are possible

Live For Christ

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:51 “Listen I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an ey, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable and we will be changed.”

When the day comes and God calls us home to heaven, the endurance of an earthly life changes, our spirit, the one that comes to live on earth changes and becomes a spiritual body in heaven. No more suffering here, but freedom to live unblemished with the Lord.

Think about this, you can look forward to a life ahead that is free to live without difficulties, physical or emotional. While we are living we look to Christ as our shield and protector in the earth. We aren’t here by accident, we are here to serve Him and his people on earth and to make a life worthy of our calling for Him. Not living a life of selfishness and pain or fear of what can happen but to look to Him for the answer and to depend on that answer to help encourage us as we do our daily walk in this life.

For now, I say to all that read this message to ask for forgiveness, repent and turn to God for everything. When the trumpet sounds will it be a clear call for you?

Jesus shed His blood for you so you can live free from the burdens of this world, He was your sin offering at the cross. Always remember what He did for you, and for me.

As Paul says: 1 Corinthians 15:50 “I declare to you brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.”

We are the perishable in flesh, and live in the world which is perishing.
