Time For Obedience

In these days of trials and loss, it is surely a time of testing of our obedience. God is not the Lord of wrong doing, He is righteous and expects us to follow His ways, not the world so if you are looking for answers in your life right now, follow God and pray to Him He will always supply answers for you that you can understand during times of testing. It will take a lot of patience to know what to do when you are tested and God looks to see the amount of faith that  goes along with it.

Look at the Jewish people in Exodus 15 when they finally were brought out of egypt and into the desert. they went 3 days without  water. But during that time, how many were really not believing God for it? How many were thinking and depending on Moses for miracles? But through Moses God did a miracle! Exodus 25 -Then Moses cried out to the Lord  and the Lord showed him a piece of wood, he threw it into the water and the water became sweet.

Not keeping your focus on God is not fully trusting him, so re-examine your life and think about how God has provided for you in the past and will provide in the future. His mighty hand swept the sea apart and held it back like a wall for His people to go through the Red Sea, why don’t you think that He would not do the same for you in your life?

Do what is right in the Lord’s eyes, pay attention to His commands and keep His decrees!

Shalom

Who has broken Gods Covenant?

In Jeremiah 11, this chapter tells us that God speaks to  Jeremiah to tell the people of Judah and Israel they have broken God’s Covenant.

God says in Jeremiah 11:3-6  Tell them this is what the Lord your God of Israel says: “Cursed is the man who does not obey the terms of this covenant the terms I commanded your forefathers when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the iron smelting furnace. I said obey me and do everything I command you and you will be my people and I will be your God.Then I will fulfill the oath I swore to your forefathers, give to them a land flowing with milk and honey the land you possess today.

So, I ask you, reader, do you see a connection to behavior from the time that Jeremiah was speaking with God to our present time?

let’s continue.

Jeremiah 11:6-8 The Lord said to me, Proclaim all these words in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, “Listen to the terms of this covenant and follow them. From the time I brought your forefathers up from Egypt until today I warned them again and again saying “Obey Me” but they did not listen or pay attention instead they followed the stubbornness of their evil hearts. So I brought on them all the curses of the covenant I had commanded them to follow but they did not keep.”

This fallen world has forgotten God, has broken His laws and and disrespected our Lord in numerous ways. So I ask you reader, do you believe that God is almighty, the powerful and awesome God we worship and obey His word and commandments? This is written for you to remind you, who is in charge. Not the people of this world………..GOD, look to Him for all the answers.

Hold on to What is Good

Many people strive for perfection. What is perfect really? Is it the way you do something, maybe it’s something you see or did that you thought was just right. But really what is perfect you cannot hold, you cannot see or hear.

But you can know Jesus who is perfect and good.

So I say to you, do not hold on to the things of this world, Hold on to what is Good, our Lord Jesus in His divine perfection He will hold you up and seize your troubles with His mighty hand. No one, no one can uphold you but Him. Stay focused on Him and you will see changes in you like you could never imagine, the perfection burden will pass and you will see that all that is perfect lies in Jesus!
