God’s View

1 John 4:4

4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

When we are representatives of God, we must remember that God is within us, the Holy Spirit resides in us.

1 John 4:5  (NIV)

5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.

Feeling like an outcast? This verse says it all. We march  by a different drum, we develop a trust in God that surpasses all that walks among us and does not know Him but listens to this world and the people in it. We are facing a constant spiritual battle and we listen and pray to the one who loves us and blesses us …..Jesus

Be Thankful and Faithful

Psalm 92

1 It is good to praise the LORD
and make music to your name, O Most High,
2 proclaiming your love in the morning
   and your faithfulness at night,
3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.

 4 For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD;
I sing for joy at what your hands have done.

When a Season Comes To An End

Many people have  gone in and out of my life, sometimes they go out kicking and screaming, sometimes just a fade away. But I have noticed as I have become closer with The Lord I have lost interest in the old things that use to appeal to me. I used to have a drink with friends, maybe at a bar, I would swear, say, at times things I knew were wrong but didn’t care.

When The Lord came into my life, He swept things away, but my family and friends didn’t understand it. I lost some close friendships that really needed to come to an end, I would lay down my limits with slander, bad language and behavior – they didn’t like it and  I was  made fun of because I didn’t do the things I use to.

But I must go to the scripture in 1 Peter:4-6

4 They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you. 5 But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

So  I must plainly say that when things come to an end, when the Season is over for you and someone else, you will realize that when you journey with Christ, it is Him showing how to separate yourself  so that you may live according to His will and to be a slave to the situation or sin.

When the Season comes to an end, that is a time of growth and you are learning how to work with the Holy Spirit and conviction of old self and habits. I am living For Christ now and He wants me to live as though I am held to a higher standard, wouldn’t you agree?

Bible is Authority

When people decide to go their own way and not follow Gods commands and words from scripture, it is their fall-away. They have made the decision to follow the world, what the world dictates and the fall of man. …….No one is perfect, but as we strive towards the goal of living with Jesus in the Kingdom we must continue to watch our steps, seize control of our mouths and sinful thoughts as we live rightly for Him and the cause of the Kingdom.

We may not always know what the right thing to do is, if it’s in Gods mind for us to do, if we should take a step towards accomplishing goals, but we know the prize ahead as we stay on the path of righteousness, goodness, kindness, love and mercy and all the guidelines are in the Bible. It is our Authority, not any man living on this earth is and if he is a person on earth that is in authority it is because God put him there for a reason, but He won’t Save you, only Christ can, so following Christ and the  Bible as His handbook is the way to our Heavenly Home! Shalom
