Following Christ

1 John 3:4-6

New International Version (NIV)

4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

When we follow Christ, we should be  paying attention to our actions and learning to avoid sin, yes, Our Savior forgives our sins, but we must be aware of when we sin and not intentionally continue to do it or promote it. It’s a world that is committed to living for self, but self leaves when you are allowing Christ closely and then the sins that overtake you – are not breaking you anymore you know how to handle it.

    Dear Friend,

Thank you for your very timely message.
Thank you for speaking The Truth in love.
The wages of sin is death. Sin brings death and destruction in our lives, but still many Christians haven’t learned this simple fact. If they have learned it; many do not apply it in their lives, which renders the knowledge null and void.

Knowing the Word of God, and then not “doing” the Word of God brings accountability for our actions and our sins of omission and commission are committed in rebellion to the Truth that we have learned from The Scriptures.
Thank you for reminding us that we are completely accountable for our actions.
If we get our motivation in alignment with the wil of God; then we will desire to please Him, and obey all of His commandments because of our love for Him.
All of His commandments are yes and amen, and all of His commandments are for our good and for our very best.
He loves us more than any human being could ever love us, and He desires the very greatest benefits for each one of His precious children.
    Father always knows best. Hallelujah!
The Lord bless you, God’s Simple Kindness; we need many more like you to rise up and take their stand for our almighty God.
May The Lord bless you and yours, and may He keep all of you in His loving arms both today and always.
In His love and for His glory,

    Peggy
