Dilligent kindness in the face of defeat

Everyday is a challenge and sometimes I am not at my kindest. Somehow you have to pull back and look at the whole picture, what is going on that is making me feel like I am defeated. Is it that I can’t control what is happening? Am I not trusting God to handle it? Is God teaching me how to handle it?

… All of the above, so today I took a big breath, stood back and said God handle it, I just can’t, I’m not feeling like things are right today so come in and take over, I surrender!

Turning to the Lord

So many lost people, in a lost world all trying to resolve their sin in one way or another. Sadly there are alot of broken people out there. We can see it when we go to the food store or get gas, someone is either hurt or angry. So what do we do for them? Do we lead them to the Lord? YES!!! If you get yourself in a habit of saying, thank you, God bless you, you are bringing them one step closer to Him. Maybe the answer might be “I don’t believe in God” . Great opening. You can do your personal testimony about what God has done for you since you have come to Him. Try this sometime.

Patiently waiting

Day by day is a patient waiting– waiting for the day to be over but there’s one right next to it. Waiting for something to happen, but that could be 40 years in the desert. So what do I learn, what does God teach me about patience?  That no matter what he loves me and carries through times of questioning, so I must remember that He is in charge not me.

Trusting in the Lord

Everyday proposes a challenge., asking God on a daily basis for His direction always amazes me to find it’s like a circle. You can never expect life changing events, but small blessings in everything that happens. Today was an example during my prayers I asked for a place in the Bible to turn to for guidance, that guidance was Psalm 25:4

“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths”

if that’s not a strong statement, what else is! Praise God for everything you have and ask everyday just this simple phrase from King David!

Stay kind in the midst of anger

Have you faced someone who has an anger issue and you just don’t know what to do about it? Show kindness because you don’t know what they are going through deep down. When we become angry, God shows patience to us through loving right relationship with Him. So the Christian attitude should be to show love and patience, with a forgiving heart, it’s hard to show this but we must live like Christ and let people see that we follow His example  while we spend our life on earth.

You Belong to God

W hen you walk with God you know you are blessed and you belong to Him. To fully understand how much God loves us is beyond our comprehension. You walk in a peace that surrounds your life, turmoil is a thing of the past because you fully belong to Him and He creates in you a new spirit, one in which you are fully satisfied with knowing and believing in all He is. Surround yourself in loving prayers as He lifts you up and places in you the mind of obedience and love.

Obey God, take refuge in Him

Psalm 34:22

The Lord redeems His servants: no one will be condemned who takes refuge in Him.

This is a powerful Psalm, when you are facing trouble or defeat read this and pray to Christ, His mighty power and love for you will get you through whatever is happening.Hold tight to your faith!

Giving to the needy

Deuteronomy 15:10 (New International Version)

10 Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

Remember to give to the poor and needy, God is watching how we give what He has given us and has blessed us with.
